Child Lures Prevention project
Principal Tim Johnson believes that the Child Lures Prevention series is a cruical tool to help protect the safty and well-being of the students he serves. Videotapes and supporting materials were purchased for elementary and middle school students to teach and promote safety techniques and skills.

Tone chimes for the chorus
Jean Swanson's choral students purchased tone chimes to accompany their voices and enhance their concerts as they compete and entertain throughout the community.

Bryant Elementary, Fourth Grade Classes
Capitol field trip
Fourth grade teachers Amy Patel, Robin Osell and Suzy Hurin led their classrooms on a an overnight field trip to see our State Capitol. Many of the students had never been to Madison, and the teachers' goal was to inspire both a passion and curosity to the students in government, our capitol building and capitol city.

Northwestern Middle School, Health Class
10,000 steps project
Nancy Homan's health classes know the importance of regular exercise to keep good health, as they monitor their activity levels with pedometers.

Bryant Elementary, Physical Education Class
Snowshoes project
Julia Blaisdell's physical education classes now use snowshoes purchased with the grant money to maintain physical fitness during the winter months.
November: Susan Enright
Northwestern Middle School, Special Education Class
Community service project
Sue Enright's special education class learned how to organize and hold a bake sale using the Class Acts! grant money. The money raised was then donated to local children in need; teaching them the importance of community service.
